What stemdeck is
StemDeck splits a song into up to six stems, vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other, and opens them in a studio where you can mute, solo, slow down, loop, change the key and play along with a click. Drop in an audio file or paste a YouTube or SoundCloud link. Separation runs on your own machine, and StemDeck does not upload your audio.

Splitting stems usually means an account, an upload, a subscription. StemDeck runs the whole split locally on your own machine, from an MP3, WAV, FLAC or M4A. Paste a YouTube URL instead, and it isolates up to six stems — vocals, drums, bass — in a multitrack mixer. Mute, solo and loop each stem, then export a custom mix — nothing leaves your machine.
